The Outfit Notes is a small menswear notebook: quiet luxury, old money and smart casual outfits for men, built from real pieces you can actually buy.

Every look is assembled from specific products (a particular cashmere jumper, a particular pair of pleated wool trousers, a particular loafer) and each page lists them all, with brand, colour, indicative price and a link to the retailer.

How the pictures are made

The outfit pictures are AI-generated illustrations of a model wearing the listed products. They are meant to show how the pieces work together, and may differ from the real items in small details such as texture, buttons or exact shade. The product photos in each list are the retailers' own. Always check the product page before buying.

What we look for

Darker textured tops over lighter tailored trousers, natural fabrics, muted colours, suede rather than shiny leather, and very few logos. Outfits that look good in ten years.
